Jeff Cosby is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1989 and is a 1992 graduate of Nova Southeastern University Law School. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts throughout Florida. Mr. Cosby began his career as a prosecutor on the Treasure Coast where he developed his trial skills. He participated in over seventy jury trials involving persons charged with all levels of crimes, including first-degree murders. Since joining the firm in 1997, Mr. Cosby has tried numerous civil cases to verdict throughout the Treasure Coast in addition to Palm Beach and Broward County. Mr. Cosby is the former Chairperson of the 19th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee and is Past-President of the 19th Circuit Inns of Court. He has been admitted to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), one of the most highly respected organizations in the nation for civil trial lawyers. He is also a member of the Martin County Bar and the Florida Bar.

Mr. Cosby handles the defense of claims involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, brain injury, tire failures, construction defect, construction litigation, Chinese drywall, business and contract disputes, homeowners and property association disputes, product defects, insurance coverage disputes, complex global settlements, employment disputes, and civil rights matters. Mr. Cosby has also handled cases on behalf of various Plaintiffs involved in multiple claims.

Jeff has presented to numerous insurance and trade groups both in Florida and nationally on Construction Litigation, Insurance Coverage, Brain Injury Litigation, Medical Billing Discovery, Pre-suit Pitfalls, and Bad Faith Issues, among others, and is fully qualified as an instructor through the State of Florida. This allows the attendees to achieve Continuing Education credits towards their requirements pursuant to their license.
